Best Place In Gainesville, FL for an extended stay - Nicer Finishes Than Any Gainesville Location, Including Hotels 

 

"I stayed for some time in this place - and will never stay anywhere else again. The apartment has beautiful renovations - split face marble in the bathroom, very modern and sleek kitchen with a beautiful gas range and dishwasher, not to mention a huge refrigerator! The big creamy leather sectional in the living room is perfect for watching the wall-mounted TV and Blu-Ray, and high speed internet is included! Parking was a breeze - never had trouble finding a spot by the door, unlike most of the rest of Gainesville. We had a duck sandwich at the Blue Gill restaurant (which we walked to) and it was fantastic. The neighborhood felt safe, looked very much like the "Gainesville" aesthetic. Adams Ribs (one of the best rib joints in town) will be coming soon I saw as well! Also within walking distance was a CVS for quick things, and a very short drive to Winn Dixie or Publix, Walmart, Target, Lowes, and other shopping on Archer Rd. The owner provided excellent service - the place was as clean as a whistle, and the linens were crisp. The air worked very well, and kept the place very comfortable. Neighbors were quiet, mostly medical students sleeping during the day and working at Shands at night, from what I could observe. Payment was convenient, and the owner was very good at communicating with us. I know this sounds like a travel brochure, but I really can't say enough about this gem in Gainesville. If my own home had finishings like this, I would never go on vacation!"

Home Away from Home in Gainesville, FL!

 

Susannah is an exceptional host and her condo was exactly as it looks in the photos. I was amazed by her attention to detail and her concern for my comfort while visiting Gainesville. The condo is very clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything one would need. Perfect location to the University of Florida, UF/Shands hospital, and the Veterinary College. Susannah takes great care to insure your stay is welcoming and wonderful. She has tips for everything from great local restaurants to parks and outdoor activities. She is easy to contact and very attentive to her guests, very fast replies. The on-site laundry and pools make for a relaxing environment. It was truly a home away from home for me, as I was there about a month. I was studying at a UF summer program, and the condo was truly an oasis at the end of the day. First, I would like to say that we were pleased with our stay from beginning to end. You were always prompt and courteous in answering all my calls and questions. (And there were many!)  The townhouse was clean and nicer than the pictures on your website. It wasn't stark and cold like some rentals.  It felt homey with all the added touches. We especially enjoyed Susannah's photography. 

 

We've been juggling so much for the past year with my husband in Shands and any kindness shown does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. For that, I am grateful.

Review for 5 Bedroom House ("Stadium House")

 

5 Stars! This house is amazing. There is so much room and perfect for large groups. All the rooms are decorated beautifully and there is a basketball court in the back that is perfect for entertainment. Susannah and her staff were so incredibly helpful and accommodating which made our stay there wonderful.Our wedding party and us rented it out for the weekend and everyone was blown away by the house!! If you’re looking for a big house perfect for entertaining a decent size group and super close to downtown bars/restaurants, this is the place you want!!! Review for Palms 304 and Red House

 

For Jan 1-March 31, 2017, my wife and I stayed in Palms 304 for approximately six weeks followed by the Red House for approximately six weeks. We found both rentals to be very comfortable and very well situated with respect to the downtown area. Both are within very reasonable walking distance of the old town restaurants and entertainment district including the Hippodrome. Parking is easily accessed for both properties and there is a city bus stop within a few hundred feet of the Palms with direct access to the University of Florida.

 

Both properties are extremely clean and very comfortably furnished. Both have full kitchen utensils including a Keurig coffeemaker at the house, a surprise that we enjoyed. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The showers at both properties were first rate with rapid hot water and a strong water stream. We particularly appreciate this feature. The house has access to a very comfortable backyard and has a screened patio that we used for our morning coffee. We found the pictures on the website to be useful and accurate.

A Review of Summit House

 

Of greatest importance to us is the attitude of the owner, Susannah, and her staff. They are all extremely friendly and most accommodating and helpful. Small problems inevitably arise over 12 weeks and they are almost immediate in resolving and fixing these issues. For example they helped to move us from the Palms to the house, highly appreciated! They took all the anxieties out of being away from home and truly made us feel as if we were at home.  We have already reserved for next season and we hope to continue into the foreseeable future.

 

A Few Minutes Walk from Shands UF

 

THANK YOU Susannah again for being a wonderful host and for going the extra mile to set up my son in your condo during his recent away rotation in Gainesville. The condo was simply PERFECT ... fully furnished with everything one would need for a 30-day stay, cable and wireless internet, and to top it off--within a few minutes walk to Shands Hospital!!! Even with our 6 hour time difference Susannah was extremely responsive and forthcoming and answered EVERY question I had (and I can tell you that I had MANY questions!). She put to rest any concerns/reservations I may have had so that I felt comfortable and confident about providing contact and payment information -- I was treated and felt like family! Her tips are thoughtful and useful; like the link she provided for the bus stops and schedule for the area. Thank you again for your hospitality ... we will DEFINITELY give you a call again should there be a need!!!

Excellent Stay and Close to UF and Shands UF Gainesville, FL

 

We had a wonderful stay in Gainesville and where we stayed made it all that much better. When we arrived, the owner meet us at the property and gave us a tour. We have stayed at quite a few VRBO’s and never has the owner meet us at the door. She was very helpful and suggested some sights around town we should visit. The property is next to the Vet School, across the street from the Hospital and within walking distance from UF. We did not drive much, instead walking to UF stadium and all around campus and felt safe the whole time. The neighborhood seems to be mostly students and was very quiet. We did not have any problems with the apartment and it was prefect for our needs of a weekend getaway. It was fully stocked with linens, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies and everything we needed in the bathroom. The only thing you will need to bring is clothes and food. I would recommend this property and will stay again when in the area- much better than hotels.

Will Definitely Come Back and Recommend to Others

 

If location is king, then this property rules. Close to the University of Florida campus, VA hospital and the veterinarian school. The condo was roomy, very clean and well-equipped (even with night lights in the kitchen and the bathroom). The condo was decorated with some of Susannah's photography of nature, they are beautiful. Susannah put together a great welcoming package listing nearby restaurants (not chain) and places to see and do. Communication was excellent and prompt and if anything was needed during our stay her property manager was available 24 hours a day. I will definitely come back to stay and tell our friends. This property surpassed my expectations

 

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your property this weekend, it was perfect! Our group could not have had a better reunion weekend back in Gainesville and your property was a HUGE part of it. With the great weather we were able to spend Saturday afternoon hanging out in the front yard before walking over to the baseball stadium for the Tennessee game. Convenient Location + Comfortable Condo + Very Nice Host

 

We came from Hong Kong and had a short stay in Susannah's condo in Gainesville from May to July 2013 for my husband's work training in Shands hospital. The condo is in a convenient location, 5 min drive from downtown, 10 min drive from a shopping plaza and 10 min walk from Shands and UF. The inside of the condo is beautiful and comfortable, decorated with the Susannah's photos of natural sceneries. The kitchen is fully equipped, so we can always cook a meal, there are towels, starter of shampoos, bath gel and washing powder and there's a comfortable couch in the living room. There're 2 washing machine rooms in the condo area which we can wash and dry our clothes, and there are 2 swimming pools which residents can always use. The owner, Susannah is very friendly. She always replies to email enquiries promptly, helps to solve any problems efficiently and is flexible on rental arrangements. When we first checked-in to her condo, she drove us around nearby and showed us where we can get food and daily stuff. We appreciate Susannah's hospitality and all of her communications. Convenient location + comfortable condo + very nice host, we will definitely stay in Susannah's condo if we visit Gainesville again, and we recommend it to anyone who is going to have a vacation or short/long stay in Gainesville.

Wonderful Kitchen and Wonderful Area

 

This apartment was amazing, and so was the owner. I wish everyone were as nice as she is - the world would be a better place. The apt. is beautifully decorated, has everything you'd need, and more. I really have only great things to say and would highly recommend staying here. The area was clean, safe and beautiful. The pool across the way is also a nice feature to relax right there... I like to cook my own food and this kitchen was perfect for it. I do hope to return some day. The host is also available for questions about the area and she provides tons of info. Felt Right at Home

 

I have travelled around the country working for the government and have lived in various hotels, temporary quarters and the likes, but I must say this is one of the nicest properties in which I have ever lived. Very spacious living area, the property is very clean and all the amenities a renter would need to feel right at home. Walking distance to restaurants, department stores, and very safe neighborhood. The owner makes the before, during, and after rental experience a smooth transition. She will even have someone help you pack/unpack your belongings if needed. Exceptional, Comfortable, and Clean

I'm a business owner and resident of Miami so when it comes to travel & leisure I have strict standards. My college mates and I went for homecoming weekend and rented two condos. The owner was so great every step of the way; her customer service is 10x better than most 5-star hotels and resorts in Miami.  The condos have the style and comfort of Miami and fashion of NY. The pictures are exactly what the condos look like and more. The couches were super comfortable (even more than the bed and I had my doubts about them), the kitchen was modern and clean, the bathrooms were also modern and clean. It's unbelievable how at home I felt; the owner had every thing a home away from home would have: cleaning utilities, shampoo, soap, blow dryer, microwave, kitchen ware (plates, forks, knives, etc), and more.   If you're looking to stay one night, one week, or a weekend, this place is well worth your money and would be much better than a over priced hotel. Every thing is either in walking or driving distance- restaurants, supermarkets, UF, etc. We are definitely going to be regulars and continue a tradition with this owner. I was more than pleased and our weekend was much enjoyed because I made the right choice of going with Ms. Peddie.

Well Worth It!

 

We were first time VRBO users but will definitely choose this apartment again. So much better than staying in a hotel! The owner (Susannah) got us off to a great start with communication that was informative and helpful. We were personally met on arrival by the apartment manager (Jeremy) who showed us into the very accurately described apartment. It is just like the pictures, clean - neat & well decorated. Our trip was to visit our son who is a grad student at UF. Our daily walks around campus were enjoyable and really helped us get the feel of where he is staying. We took in the Harm Museum of Art and Museum of Natural History. The women's gymnastics team at the "O Dome" was fabulous to watch. A trip to Lake Wauburg for a picnic got us some great scenery and wildlife including an 8 ft. Gator! Nearby to shopping and many restaurants. So close to everything we wanted to do. We most definitely recommend this property and will stay here again on our next visit!

Close to restaurants

 

"I spent three weeks in February here and I found it to be very comfortable and convenient. The apartment is in a nice, central location. I could walk a couple of blocks and be on the vast University of Florida campus or at the Shands Medical Center. I could drive literally five minutes to Gainesville downtown where there are many nice restaurants and a Starbucks. I could drive 5-10 minutes to University of Florida events, plus every kind of shopping, cinemas, restaurants, and 10-15 minutes to golf courses. The apartment was clean and cozy, nicely decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable, and there is Wifi. There are also two swimming pools and laundry facilities in the apartment complex. You don't really have any views from the apartment, but if you are going to be spending most of your time getting out and going places that won't matter. This apartment is a great launching pad. It's a busy part of town but I had no problem with noise and no problem sleeping."

Susannah could not have been more welcoming. She provided every detail several days before our trip. The condo was exactly as described. Everything is brand new and exceptionally clean. Susannah is an amazing hostess! She's quick and eager to respond to all questions. The apartment itself was just what I needed. The bed is incredibly comfy. The kitchen is well-stocked with most every utensil you'll need. The wi-fi is strong and reliable. The room is spacious and clean. The location is close enough to the city, but far enough to give you a sense of relaxation, so it meets most any need you could have! Terrific Place

Great FEST Weekend

Wonderful Weekend

Susannah is the most incredible host you'll ever encounter. Every time there was even the slightest issue she was on hand to solve it and more, she brings a whole new meaning to going the extra mile. The dryer had broken so she very kindly offered to do our entire laundry for us, without even being asked which was a service I would never have dreamed of. The house is beautiful and so comfortable, every appliance there is top of the line, the oven had settings I didn't even know existed, the TV had a cable hook up as well as a DVD player with all the features of a smart TV, we had the option of Netflix or playing videos/music from a USB stick. There's a speaker in the front room that looks like it could fill a stadium. The master bedroom has probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept in, and definitely the largest and all of the towels and bed sheets were soft and smelled great. The kitchen came packed with all the necessary cutlery and utensils (and then some more) and bonus amenities such as tea, coffee and all the spices and seasonings you could possibly need, and the bathrooms both were fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I really can't recommend Susannah or this property enough, I plan to visit Gainesville again next year and will most definitely be booking early to ensure this house again, and will be recommending her other properties to all of my friends. Everyone in my party wanted me to express their gratitude for the level of comfort we lived in for those three nights.

This is my second experience with Susannah - it will not be my last!! Everything is top-notch. Her communication is quick & thorough with kindness & generosity as a common thread. I appreciated the home away from home feel the cottage provided while visiting my son at UF. Each room is clean, comfortable and furnished with a decorators touch. Family of Shands Patient

The perfect location -- and a wonderful host -- for families of Shands patients! One of the toughest issues with having a loved one on the hospital is that it's impossible to plan ahead with any certainty. Yet Susannah, the owner of the condos we rented, was wonderfully compassionate and flexible for the two weeks we needed a place near Shands. She was able to put us up in one of her condos the very day we contacted her. She then found a way to make it work when my brother's condition made it necessary to extend our stay ...and then extend it yet again. Not having to deal with the issue of lodging helped to reduce the stress in what was already a very stressful situation. An added bonus was the proximity of the complex to Shands. The fact it is just a few blocks from Shands meant we could all walk to the hospital, eliminating the need to coordinate driving. We could not have asked for a better host. Thank you, Susannah!

Holiday Visit

Words cannot express how gracious Susannah was, and the attention she gave our family during our Christmas holiday in her 2 bedroom home. She is a superior host that responded to any of our communications within minutes, and check-in and check-out was a breeze. The 2 bedroom home in downtown Gainesville was gorgeous, charming, historic, chic, elegant, immaculate, and most importantly, our perfect home for the Christmas holiday. We had a 7 foot artificial tree in the dining room, with plenty of room left so that at least 6 people could dine and open presents. The gourmet kitchen was wonderful and had everything you would need for casual meals, and for more special meals with entertaining. We loved the washer & dryer, fast wifi, and the screened patio. The neighborhood is quiet, parking is on the street, and a Publix market is 2 minutes away. Every, single thing about this stay was perfect, and I am so grateful for hosts like Susannah that make their guests #1.

Wonderful neighborhood

We first want to thank our host Susannah for making us feel at home, we absolutely loved our stay at the Red House! The house was amazing, so convenient and spacious. As we entered the house for the first time, the sweet smell of cleanliness immediately hits you and reaffirms the excellent maintenance of the house. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends & family. The dining, living and bedrooms are nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen is very spacious and had everything needed to cook. We had an early Xmas dinner for 12 persons, the kitchen was spacious enough for preparing the different courses, and we were comfortable enough using the dining, living and Florida rooms. There was enough soap, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, etc. in the two large bath rooms. One bathroom does not have a shower, but has a beautiful claw bath tub. We stayed 8 nights and there was enough of everything we needed. However, if needed, there is a Super Walmart, CVS and Publix just a few minutes away. The garden is beautiful and there is a very nice backyard covered area with large table and gas heater. The location of the house is excellent, located in the historic area, close to downtown and has a beautiful pond with ducks, geese and swans. The narrow streets are a little tricky, I did lose orientation a couple of times, but it was fun! However the positive is that there is very little traffic and the area is great for walking. Susannah was very prompt in responding to my emails and questions. I highly recommend our host Susannah and this house.

Convenient to Hospital

I lived in Susannah's condo for 6 weeks and it was exactly as described on airbnb. The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything I needed including toiletries, linens, and kitchen appliances. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and a very easy walk to the hospital. We came from abroad to stay in Gainesville for a few years. After a long journey with two young children along we were exhausted. We felt relieved as soon as we stepped in: we felt at home!!! Beautiful pieces of Susannah's art hanging on the walls, gourgeus furniture! Very nice and comfortable apartment in a quiet, friendly and safe neighbourhood. Pool area clean and well kept. The place is close to Campus and Shands. Moreover Susannah is a great host, she is radiant and smiling. She is willing to help in any way possible! We are more than happy to have been here! Excellent Corporate Condo in Gainesville

I found this condo to have everything I needed for my business stay. I was able to bring my wife with me, so by having a living area, dining area, and fully kitchen in addition to the bedroom, our stay was very nice as we could spread out (i.e. one could sleep in the bedroom while the other watched TV in the living room and she was able to cook our meals while I was consulting at UF Health). I was extremely satisfied and found the condo a better value, more spacious, and more convenient than a hotel. I hope to stay at this condo during my next visit.

Convenient!

I am a traveling medical care provider and I have never had such an accommodating landlord. Not only was the apartment walking distance to my place of work, but the place had everything I needed. The owner was extremely easy to contact and really cared about making my experience a good one (I am frequent user of corporate apartments and this was one of my best experiences). Perfect home away from home

Great stay in historic neighborhood

This rental was a great find in the Duckpond neighborhood in Gainesville. It is located close to downtown to access all the neat locations, but far enough away to avoid the noise and cluster. The house is cozy, but not small. Everything seems to be in perfect flow inside the house with all the amenities included: welcoming living room to relax in, intimate dining room to enjoy a meal, comfy and spacious bedroom to feel comfortable, even the bathroom was a great. I did not use the kitchen that much, but it is more that sufficient to make a full dinner meal. The inclusion of the washer and dryer is a great luxury for longer term stays. As a personal aside, the owner went above and beyond in helping find this rental. I really appreciated the concern for me as a guest and the quickness and thoroughness with which any concerns I had were assuaged.

Cute, comfortable, charming cottage

My husband and I rented this very charming cottage in order to visit our daughter who is a graduate student at UF. The cottage was located in a quiet and quaint neighborhood, had a very comfortable king-size bed, two flat screen TVs, and was beautifully decorated with photos taken by Susannah. I cooked a complete Thanksgiving dinner for our daughter and some of her classmates. I set out a buffet in the dining room and everyone ate in the living room. We had plenty of space for seven people to eat and watch football. The cottage was already rented for the UF/FSU game that weekend, so Susannah moved us into one of her condos on Friday. She graciously arranged to have the condo ready for us by noon so we did not have to wait until 4 p.m. to move in. The condo was very modern and comfortable. I definitely would stay in either place again. Thanks, Susannah, for enabling us to have a wonderful holiday with our daughter!

A Cheerful and Cozy Getaway

For 6 days we used Susannah's home as an anchor to tour Gainesville. We walked the neighborhood streets admiring the big old houses and walked to the University of Florida. A short drive brought us to a number of fun hiking trails, including La Chua Trail and the Hawthorne Trail. The house is very cheerful with the sun streaming in, comfortable and very quiet. There are a number of Susannah's photographs decorating the walls. They are beautiful, so serene and enchanting!

Beautiful cottage in heart of downtown

My husband needed a furnished rental for a new job in Gainesville while we looked for a new home. He stayed in two of Susannah's condos as well as this cottage. Everything is clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The cottage is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed walking to downtown restaurants. We have been using vbro.com for over 10 years and Susannah was the most helpful host yet. She made a stressful event (relocation) so much less so. We highly recommend her cottage and condos. We also really enjoyed the gorgeous artwork she has displayed.

If you are coming to Gainesville this is the place to stay. You can Walk to everything including great restaurants and bars and you can walk to the stadium! Perfect location for Football Weekends

Wonderful location for a Gator football weekend. Right in the middle of downtown with the bars and restaurants within close walking distance. About a mile to the stadium for Game Day. Very safe and easily accessible through the parking garage. Susannah (the owner) is extremely accommodating and easy to deal with. The condo was very well taken care of had all the amenities that you would need. Would definitely recommend this place to others and stay here again!

This condo met our every need! It was less than 5 minutes from Shands. It allowed us to run back and forth from the hospital to get baths, freshen up, and just relax. Our family stayed here while our home was being built.m but we felt right at home here. We had all he essentials that we needed for everyday living, very spacious, super close to shopping centers and entertainment, all updated appliances, and a pool. If we ever had a question, the owner was always available. The area was quiet and peaceful. Great place. We would definitely rent this property again.

Great weekend visit to Gainesville

Susannah is an amazing owner. She's quick and eager to respond to all questions. The apartment itself was just what I needed. The bed is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked with most every utensil you'll need. The wi-fi is strong and reliable. The room is spacious and clean. The location is close enough to the city, but far enough to give you a sense of relaxation, so it meets most any need you could have! I highly recommend this condo. My only criticism is that she doesn't have properties outside of Gainesville because her service is exemplary.

Great Experience!

The owner of this rental does a great job of accommodating guests! We had a very positive experience while we stayed here for the Florida - Tennessee football game. It is about a mile walk to the middle of campus so it is very possible to walk rather than having to rely on cabs. Apartment is clean and they provided an air mattress for us as well. When my husband had a stroke while we were on vacation in Clearwater, Florida, he was taken to Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Our children came down from Minnesota for a short time and wanted to find long-term housing for me before they had to return home. They found this condo on VRBO and communicated by email with Susannah even though she was on vacation with her family out west. She enabled me to move in right away and promised to take care of my housing until my husband was released. And she kept her word, despite the fact that I had to move to another location for the last night of my stay. And it happened to be graduation weekend, one of the busiest times of the school year. She took that burden off my shoulders at a time when all I could concentrate on was my husband's health. The condo was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was supplied with all the basic necessities. A notebook on the counter held all the information needed to deal with parking, laundry, restaurants, etc. I never met Susannah, but I will be eternally grateful to her for all she did for me when I was facing a family tragedy.

Thank you for a 5 star experience for our stay in Gainesville. The condo was well supplied and the location could not have been better. We were in walking distance to both the hospital and the university and within a mile or so of eating and shopping amenities. The cleaning crew worked around our schedule and did an excellent job. You will be extremely satisfied with these condos

My wife and I spent a week in Gainesville and wanted to avoid the hotel scene where you never feel at home. We found the Summit House condos on line and decided to give it a try. The price for a week was much cheaper than a hotel and the experience was delightful. Immediately after arrival the owner called us to make sure we arrived safely and to ask if we needed anything. The condos are spacious, extremely clean and have everything you could ever need in terms of dishes, silverware, cleaning supplies, large screen tv and very comfortable furniture. There are two swimming pools on the property for swimming and sun bathing. The condos are very close to the University of Florida campus so you can walk anywhere and avoid the hassle of trying to find a parking spot. They are also very close to the hospitals, numerous restaurants, taverns and shopping areas. The location is just ideal for almost anything you could want to do around Gainesville. If you need a safe, quiet, comfortable, spacious condo for a weekend, week or month, you will be very satisfied with the Summit House condos.

Susannah is such a wonderful host! Not only was her condo beautiful and perfect for 2 couples, but she was extremely attentive and thoughtful. She provides any and all information a guest may need, from WiFi information to toiletries, to fun things to do around town. This house is in the perfect location for any UF related event. Parking is ample, house is big enough to host a lot of people, space for outdoor activities and very close to UF for football/graduation/midtown. The house had everything it said it was going to and more! Sussanah even supplied some little things like coffee and shampoo! The house stayed very comfortable for 8 people and nice updates and appliances. She was vry fast to respond to any troubles or concerns you may have and would bend over backwards to accommodate you. This was the second time I stayed in one of Susannah's houses and it was wonderful as usual. I stayed in a beautiful old house located in the historic district (only 5 minutes from my rotation for school). It was nicely furnished and very comfortable with so much personality! It was a quiet neighborhood, which was wonderful b/c I had alot of work to do. Would have loved to stay longer and do no work but had to go home after a week. Susannah was amazing! The place was super clean and it is exactly as the pictures. Outside is not bad but also not perfect. Once you get in, it feels like home! There's a gas station very close and a Krispy Kreme if you like donuts. Private parking is in the back and at about 15 minutes away from The Woodlands of Gainesville apartments. I will definitely stay here again!

My daughter in law, her husband, and our two grandchildren recently stayed at this rental property. It was easy for me to make the reservation for them. Susannah was very helpful. They enjoyed their stay at the Summit House very much. There was a minor issue of some missing sheets for the inflatable mattress but it was quickly handled by the host. The apartment was clean and well furnished. It was easy to park, and the two pools were clean and well cared for. They later moved to a larger apartment at Bivens South. This new place was twice as big and beautifully furnished. The space had a stunning view of the lake. It was also easy to park, and the location was still quite close to the main roads of Gainesville. The view from the master bedroom in the morning was breathtaking. Overall, our family had a very pleasant and relaxing stay with this host. We definitely recommend this host for your short term rental needs.

The neighborhood is nice, it was an easy walk downtown. La Chua trail is cool, only about a ten minute drive from the house. Would definitely stay again.

This is our fourth time renting from Susannah, and we have never been disappointed!  The Summit House apartment is very comfortable, clean and attractive, and conveniently located.  During the week we took mini, overnight trips to Orlando and Lakeland, Florida.  It was reassuring and pleasing to know we had a welcoming, comfortable "home" to return to following those travels.  We look forward to our next trip in April and again staying in the Summit House condo.
